STORYBOARDS
Tiger Eye: Curse Of The Riddle Box Part I
I wanted our cut scenes to be more than the standard casual game comic panels and/or static shots but we had neither the time nor the resources for full animation AND movie file sizes also had to be kept fairly small. I was inspired by the animated comics for I Am Legend (esp Jason Chan's pieces, wow!) and figured using that storytelling mechanic would be a good solution. Add voice-overs and audio and voila!
Once I had the final script, I went ahead and storyboarded the sequences and created animatics which would become the final movies once the finished art was inserted. Below are a selection of storyboards for Tiger Eye.
